• Aromatherapy II - Practical Treatments
(Pre-requisites: Aromatherapy I and Massage I; Massage II preferred)

This subject will expand on Aromatherapy I and include the following:

Further 20 oils, applications & properties
Analysis of the client
Inhalations, compresses, baths
Blending for balance
Chemotypes & hydrosols
Physiology of Olfaction
Developing aromatherapy products
Carrier oils, blends and formula
Essential oils for facials
Toxicity and essential oils
Facial massage

 


• Aromatherapy III - Remedial Aromatherapy

(Pre-requisites: Aromatherapy II, Massage II, Anatomy & Physiology, Pathophysiology)

This subject will consolidate skills learnt in Aromatherapy II. You will be amazed at the wide range of conditions that Aromatherapy can treat.

Specific treatments and blending for clinical disorders
Monitoring and evaluation of Aromatherapy treatments
Analysing and comparing Aromatherapy and complementary therapies
Providing specialised Aromatherapy assessment and care
Developing the Aromatic Clinic

 

• Energetic Touch - The Power to Heal
(Pre-requisites: None)

This interactive video series of learning is based on the book “Quantum Touch” by Richard Gordon. Energetic Touch represents a major breakthrough in the art of hands on healing. Whether you are the lay person, acupressurist, craniosacral practitioner or massage therapist this course will enhance whatever healing modality you practice. The following subjects will be covered:

The principles of Quantum Touch

• Qi-Gong Therapy - Oriental Qi Energy Healing
(Pre-requisites: None)

This interactive video workshop by master Ken Cohen will instruct you how to use Qi to heal others. This course is slightly different from Quantum Touch by incorporating concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine and various methods of Qi-Gong. Qi-Gong literally means “life energy (Qi) skill (Gong)”. The course can be taken by itself or in conjunction with other “Energy” subjects. This course is personally facilitated by Peter Farnsworth who has trained under Ken Cohen.

•Thai Massage I & II - Applied Yoga
(Pre-requisites: None)

Thai Massage harmonises the energies of the body and mind. Pressure applied to the clothed body releases powerful healing forces that ease pain and stress. It’s exquisite, yoga-like stretches improve flexibility maintain health and vitality and enhance sports performance. The course is ideal for those who work in areas of corporate or sports massage. Thai massage is also used by fitness trainers to provide a post workout stretch to their clients.

•Reflexology I - The Ingham Method
(Pre-requisites: None)

Reflexology deals with the principle of reflexes in the hands, ears and feet, relative to each and every organ of the body. Stimulating these reflexes properly can help many health problems in a natural way, leading to vitality and balance. You will be taught how to deal with a variety of disorders applicable to Reflexology. Reflexology courses are personally overseen by Peter Farnsworth N.D. who has trained with Mr. Dwight C. Byers, world
