You may choose any of the 2 diploma specialisation options listed below. Either way you will receive a government accredited Diploma of Remedial Massage HLT50307.

Course Details

  • Graduate with a Diploma of Remedial Massage HLT50307.
  • Qualification: Remedial Massage Therapist
  • 12 months Full time

Delivery and Assessment:

    Delivery for this qualification includes in-class and flexible delivery. Assessment for this qualification includes written and verbal questioning and assessment activities (hands-on practical skills)

What is involved in achieving this qualification?

    To achieve this qualification, students would need to be found competent in all 29 Units of Competency (16 Common Units, 3 Elective Units and 10 Specialty Units).

RPL / RPC (Recognition or Prior Learning / Recognition of Prior Competency)

    The NHAA recognises all qualifications issued by other RTOs under the AQF, and embraces RPL, RPC and Credit Transfer where appropriate evidence is supplied.

Pre-requisites:

    You will need to have sufficient literacy, numeracy and computer skills, and also need to be aware that this course is highly practically based and very hands on.

Qualification Pathways:

    Once you have completed the Diploma of Remedial Massage HLT50307 you will be eligible to enroll into other Diploma pathways.

Myofascial Release / Craniosacral Therapy Specialisation

This specialisation caters for those who wish to develop a career as a Sport Massage Therapist. A Sport Massage Therapist uses a combination of techniques to treat athletes and sports people, to promote fitness, good health and to achieve optimum performance and recovery from injury. Graduate with a HLT50307 Diploma of Remedial Massage.

This specialisation is for those who wish to specialise in using Myofascial Release and Craniosacral Therapy in the treatment of neck, back and structural problems. This course would suit those who wish to work more sensitively, yet deeply, in treating musculoskeletal disorders. This course presents the ultimate in Bodywork Therapies. Graduate with a HLT50307 Diploma of Remedial Massage.
