

The NHAA was the first in Adelaide to offer a Diploma of Reflexology and continues to offer the very latest in Reflexology techniques. We will offer you a unique combination of advanced trainings including Oriental and Ear Reflexology. The course is overseen by Peter Farnsworth ND, DRM, who has over 30 years expertise in this subject. Reflexology is used in a variety of settings and can be used to treat sport injuries in combination with other massage therapies. Course Details
This pathway is designed for those who wish to specialise in Reflexology. Reflexology can be used to treat a variety of complaints and disorders and is used in many hospital settings internationally. It is one of the most popular modalities in Asian spas, resorts and clinics. Please note: in addition to the above, a Diploma in Remedial Massage HLT50307 may be required to obtain provider numbers with some health funds.

Delivery for this qualification includes in-class and flexible delivery. Assessment for this qualification includes written and verbal questioning and assessment activities (hands-on practical skills)

What is involved in achieving this qualification?
To achieve this qualification, students would need to be found competent in all 21 Units of Competency (13 Common Units, 4 Elective Units and 4 Specialty Units).

RPL / RPC (Recognition or Prior Learning / Recognition of Prior Competency)
The NHAA recognises all qualifications issued by other RTOs under the AQF, and embraces RPL, RPC and Credit Transfer where appropriate evidence is supplied.

Pre-requisites:
There are no prerequisites for this course, however you are required to have sufficient literacy, numeracy and computer skills, and also need to be aware that this course is highly practically based and very hands on.

Qualification Pathways:
By studying the Diploma of Reflexology with NHAA, you will also gain extra units of competency that can go towards the Diploma of Remedial Massage HLT50307. You may wish to upgrade your qualifications to the Diploma of Remedial Massage HLT50307 as it may be required to obtain Provider Number status with certain Private Health funds.
