HLT41212 Certificate IV in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultation

Ayurveda-in-Kerala[1]

The Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultancy certification program is dedicated to teaching authentic Ayurvedic health science which is the natural adjunct to the practice of Yoga. This program brings Ayurvedic training to you from its roots and in the fullness of its scope and wisdom. Ayurveda like the Yogic Tradition is more than 6000 years in its documentation and practice.

The Ayurvedic approach looks to maintain the health and vitality of a person by providing the necessary support in health as well as when illness or disease is present. While conventional medicine treats the symptoms of an illness, Ayurvedic medicine is more concerned with a patient’s overall health. Ayurvedic makes use of a number of natural therapies & approaches, including lifestyle counseling, dietary advice, herbal remedies and massage, yoga & meditation. Practitioners are typically accredited by various national associations, which ensure that they have undergone the required training and comply with the highest standards of Ayurvedic practice.

This course is aimed at training highly competent Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultants as well as meeting the interests of those wishing to deepen understanding and management of their personal wellbeing as formulated through the dynamic principles of the Ayurvedic vision of holistic health. More than a system of treating illness, Ayurveda is a science of life (Ayur = life and longeviNationally Recognised Trainingty, Veda = science or knowledge). Ayurveda offers the insight and the means to create and sustain heightened vitality. It provides guidelines on how to live according to the natural order (dharma) that is reflected through the seasonal rhythms and cycles affecting many facets of daily experience, and how to establish dynamic integration and balance between our environment, Body, Mind & Spirit.
